About Me

Welcome to Sunflower Coaching, offering wellbeing, career and life coaching.

My name is Sarah Crothers, and I have worked in the charity, professional services, hospitality, and law sectors, giving me a deep understanding of a variety of different roles and backgrounds, and also an understanding of what makes people flourish and thrive. I am deeply passionate about supporting people. and ensuring that they are able to put themselves first, whether professionally or personally.

A particular passion of mine is working with young people, between the ages of 16-25, as I find encouraging healthy wellbeing and career habits at this stage in life can support a much stronger foundation to grow. During my work with The National Citizen Service, I saw the growth and passion young people can have if someone gives them the time and support they need to flourish. This passion for the development of young people continued as I led the graduate and apprenticeship programme for UK Consulting at Deloitte, inducting between 500-600 new joiners every year into a highly competitive and fast moving organisation. I was able to support these new joiners in their transition to work, professional qualification and developing the transferrable business skills that will support their success going forward.

Having been trained as a facilitator and learning and development expert, focusing on the development and delivery of business and technical skills, I decided what I really wanted to do was help people on a more personal level, and the next step for me was clear. And that next step was Coaching.

The mission of Sunflower Coaching is to provide a safe and secure environment where anyone can come and discuss their goals, their values, their drivers, their motivators, and understand what may be stopping them from reaching their full potential. I believe that everyone should have a safe place, and using my experience working with young people, my coaching qualifications and also my experience of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, I aim to be that safe enabler to help people thrive.
